Touch Activated LED Flashlight for Every Day Carry - INOVA Microlight STS by Nite Ize Review & Giveaway

If you ever run into me, it's guaranteed that I'll be carrying a few items with me and one of those items I always have is a flashlight.  It's amazing to me how often I actually use my flashlights.  Sure, you could whip out your cell phone and click your "Torch" app, but I like my flashlights to have a bit more durability than my cellphone, and have secondary uses as well.

I was so pleased when I was asked to review the Inova Microlight STS by Nite Ize.  I saw the picture of this tiny little LED flashlight and I thought it would be nice to have a little squeeze light I can attach to my Every Day Carry bag.  Once I recieved the Inova Microlight STS I was surprised by what exactly I had in my hand to review.  This isn't an ordinary squeeze LED light.

The Inova Microlight STS has 4 functions: High Power, Variable Dim, Low Power and Strobe.  The high power mode has a light output of 16 lumens, providing 9 hours run time on the included, two replaceable 2032 lithium batteries.  The low power mode has a light output of 2 lumens and lasts for 64 hours.  The light color is white and the case is impact resistant to 2 meters and is water resistant.  For you minimalists out there, this light weights only 0.53oz or 15g!  It comes with an attached S-Biner, stainless steel double gated carabiner clip which attaches securely and releases easily.

Now, what I love about this impressive little flashlight is the Swipe to Shine technology.  Simply swipe your finger to the left of the sensor, and the high power mode turns one.  Swipe you finger to the left again, low power comes one, and once more for the strobe light.  Swipe anytime to the right to turn it off!  Simplistic, stylish, and practical.  I think this light is well worth the $11.99 price tag, and can be purchased by clicking the INNOVATION banner on the top of the page or click HERE!!!
Now, the good new is that Nite Ize was so gracious to send me TWO of these awesome lights.  I opened the black one to review, which means I have the red one available to give away!  If you want to a chance to win this light, follow these simple instructions: 1.) 10. CREE XM-L2 LED technology is the best technology for a flash light. I think M22 Warrior LED Flashlight is the best. Because it has this.tuition agency

  11. This is a quality article and I appreciate your detailed review of this flashlight. I've seen similar small tactical flashlights and I think I agree that they are more practical but still produce a very bright light. It's the best of both worlds!
